This Business Intelligence technology allows to carry out an evolved report production and the analysis of existing data from other databases. Data are stored in external databases and the different entities and their interrelations are described in an intermediate metadata level.
Metadata (“Universes” in Business Objects terminology) are stored, along with reports, in an external database (functioning as a repository).
